I like to write down at my local coffee shop when I can. I like to sit against the wall and try to keep a low profile as the world goes about their business. Today was somewhat different, though. As the usual suspects around me debated the health benefits of quinoa versus wholewheat pasta, my usually unanimated body was bouncing behind my computer, so much so that someone came over to ask what I was listening to, and I told her "Rhoes" by Melbourne producer London. This was actually a little embarrassing to me, as I wasn't fully aware that I was making such movements, but that is a testament to just how good this song is. The beat is captivating, the vocals are seductive, and just when you think you have this song licked, the final minute drops. And, in the well-articulated words of user Freeeooo, who commented at the 2:15 minute mark on SoundCloud, "Holy balls...". How we missed the track when it was released back in August is beyond us, but we aren't wasting another second without this jam in our lives, and you shouldn't either. Listen to the incredible "Rhoes" by London below.
