LOLO BX last appeared on our pages in December with their Spring EP that I actually found myself listening enjoyably along to earlier in the day. It was a greatly entertaining listen as I recall, the EP was, and a fellow HD writer's description of the music as "eclectic, quirky, and nicely abrasive" is more accurate than anything here I can come up with. Anyway, the Australian duo appeared again today with their latest sonic concoction, "Airworks", and it's every bit as fun a listen as the contents found on their earlier EP. The pair of producers refer to the tune's sound as "RnB meets disco-bounce-happy times", and, again, I'm powerless to come up with a better assessment. What I am able to attest to, however, is the blatant maturity that their sound represents; the electronic they caress is never dull and never overwhelming, it's perfectly balanced between synth utilizations, bass bumps, and vocal loops, and will indeed inspire happy times as the duo suggests.
