Jill Baylon started her music journey over four years ago, and, while her earliest work did see some daylight in terms of traction, the past couple years seem to have been her time of growth. The result of such time "off" has been a new sound (and moniker) in Lola, and this month-old, self-titled EP of hers here offers vulnerable, close-to-heart songwriting with understated, acoustic-heavy production as well.
