In the land of music blogging on the internet, there's a hidden rule somewhere that puts a time limit on posting certain things. A day late on a track, and the ensuing coverage will be called "old", a week late, and you might as well skip over whatever material you've been sleeing seven days upon, and a year...well, let's just hope that the music is damn good. Tonight, we say F it to the unwritten rules, because we feel absolutely compelled to share this particular track with you. Yes, it was released a year ago, but there will still be some of you out there who haven't heard this, and for us, that's reason enough to post. Loft Apartment is the Finnish duo of Aaro Vahtera & Sanni Pesonen, and together, they create blissfully stunning & absolutely mesmerizing music. "Someone's Will (To Have You)" was the first track they released, and it's proof enough for our strong choice of words. The way they situate Sanni's vocals in the mix is too perfect. It's shrouded in a mist of verb, yet it's pulled to the front of the mix, leaving you doused in a haze that's impossible to escape from. The track is a great one, and we can only hope that the duo release something new soon.
