Trying to get adequate information on some undiscovered acts is like pulling teeth, and sometimes you never really know if you're being trolled or not. For the Canberra-based D&B producer, Lockjaw, it seems at least that his work is made visible—as his SoundCloud page is full of self-crafted tracks—but any more details seem to be hard to come by. His particularly big-sounding effort illuminated here, "With You", demonstrates such an unidentifiable nature as alluded to above (we don't know if it's a remix or an original, as it reminds us of something we may have heard from Sampha's camp), but, whatever its artistic origins, we hope Louis Fourie (Lockjaw) continues to experiment with the bass-pushing, R&B-infused electronic pulsation he's concocted here (be it authentically, or, in an interpretive way), because its production is staggering and something we'd love to hear more of.
