Diplo's record label, Mad Decent, is on top of the game right now. With almost two million SoundCloud followers, the label is basically in the driver's seat when it comes to directing new musical styles. One of their newer artists is LIZ, a young pop/R&B artist who has already dropped some promising songs here and there, but is now prepping to release her seven-track Just Like You EP. Our first taste of the album is "Y2K", an unpredictable track produced by the Norwegian pop artist, Lido. The instrumentation bounces around between poppy effected vocals, dreamy synths, water drops, and utter silence. The production on this one is exceptional, and LIZ does an outstanding job of mastering the sporadic beat.
