"Tapestry" is the stunning debut track from London-based artist Liv Dawson. Though she's still just a teen, she's got a voice that's powerful as it is lovely, and we couldn't be happier to be acquainted with her distinct sound. Accompanied by caramel vocal harmonies and slick, slow-jam instrumentals, Dawson delivers impassioned lyrics with the warmth and imagination of a great storyteller, deploying metaphor and simile to give her "Tapestry" textures, shapes, and colors. The title of the song is really fitting for it, as listening to it feels like watching someone retell a story or recreate a particular moment in time. Both musically and lyrically, it displays a huge amount of potential for her, and we definitely look forward to hearing whatever story she wants to tell us next. [via P&P]
