Even though it's been three years since Little Dragons' last album, it seems the buzz these Swedes have been able to maintain throughout the years has been noticeable. Whether it's from the recent influx of their remixes, or their recent announcement of festival appearances, it appears they are striking at the best time to announce their forthcoming album, Nabuma Rubberband, that's due out May 13th via Loma Vista Recordings. Leading off the hype for their new album is the massive lead single, "Klapp Klapp", that immediately reminds everyone how good Little Dragon is. From its ominous buildup, "Klapp Klapp" slowly creeps into your psyche with some old-school twang and distinctive square-wave synths. Once Yukimi Nagano's vocals drop in, and that rapid-fire percussion takes over, though, the track takes on a life of its own. If there was a perfect song to hype the new album, this track is definitely it.
