We get so many debut tracks in our inbox that it can be hard to keep up with all the new acts out, but this one by London-based band Little Cub is masterfully done, and there's a good chance it will propel them above all the other fresh faces out there looking for a break. As with many other brand-new acts, there's not a lot to know about them yet, but that's OK, because the four-piece is in possession of a fantastic track called "Breathing Space" that's all you need to know about them. The song is a relatively basic combination of synths, dance-inspired tempos, and slick vocals, but "Breathing Space" is more than the sum of its parts, and its hook is downright addictive. The pulsing synths are crunchy enough to get stuck in your brain, and the simple-yet-effective chorus is right on point and makes for the perfect track to sing along to once you get the lyrics down. Little Cub has certainly landed on a very fun sound here, and, as long as they keep it up, they have a massive base of potential fans to tap into.
