Litany has always been in our good graces. They've impressed us with each of their releases to this point, and they've managed to avoid pigeonholing themselves in any sonic sense (several of their peers have not been so fortunate with this). What they've managed to create together is a very cool and smooth indie-electronic vibe ("shimmering" will be a word attached often to it), and it's one that's somehow very accessible despite it's nature rooted in the unique. Today, the new-school duo has unveiled their latest track, and, in line with their adventurous ways, it explores again new territories for them in the sonic realm. For them, the sound of the track is a bit more poppy than ones of their past, but they're smart enough to not let that have a damaging effect. Rather, with the slightly more upbeat energy on it (the subject matter is still very sincere), we're privy to the fact that these two are on the way up rather than in a straight and stagnate sonic line. We're refreshed by that fact, and we're overjoyed to again see the two making—and sending out—wonderful artistic works into the world.
