Like most acts that seemingly appear out of nowhere, there's not much info on Liz thus far. That's OK, though, because all we needed to start writing about this band was their debut, "Something New". Released yesterday, the song has already amassed 4,000 plays on SoundCloud, so there's either a sort of industry connection, or people are just really digging this song and spreading it around. We're assuming the latter here, and upon hearing the track for yourself, it's easy to hear why it's doing so well. In all honesty, "Something New" is an easy listen, but it's definitely not something you're going to yawn over. Within this track is a multitude of genres and instrumentation (pop, indie, electronic, and soul spirits are all harnessed), so if you're someone who likes to hear some variety in their music, there's no doubt you're going to dig the track. Get familiar with it below, therefore, and hope for more similarly enticing material to surface in the not-too-distant future.
