It looks like it's been quite some time since the Perth, Austrailia indie-electronic outfit, Lilt, has released any kind of new material. And while there's nothing inherently wrong with that, when the music is as good as the recent single "Take" indicates, it's unclear why we'd want the trend to continue. The track is soft as a cloud, as beautiful as a stroke of lightning, and harmonious enough to make even peanut butter and jelly wince in envy, and we attribute these claims to the airy vocals and synths, rhythmic bass, and impeccable union of the two, respectively. All similes aside, though, it stands as an uber-lush single for the talented trio, who we hope is eager to continue with the wondrous craft they've picked back up.
