Durk called the right name on this one. J. Cole shows up and does exactly what you'd want him to do — a verse with actual structure, actual thought, actual stakes. The production is clean and uncluttered, which gives both artists room to breathe. 'All My Life' is a momentum track for Durk, and Cole's presence validates the moment without overshadowing it. Anthemic without being cheap about it.
