While we sung Daktyl's praises last night with his remix of Dawn Golden's "Last Train", we had mentioned that few were as consistent as him with regard to putting out consistently intriguing and absorbing electronic. Well, that inclusive bunch includes Stwo, a producer we've covered so many times that we need to introduce him no more. If you're a follower of the site, you're already familiar with his penchant for sprucing R&B tracks, too, and with his remix of Lido and Muri's "Lost", that's exactly what he's done. An adept architect of electronic in his own right, Lido's original is nothing to sneeze at. It's excitingly emotive, and brimming with very solid levels of energy conveyed so effortlessly in sonic form. That's what Lido's about, after all, but Stwo as well, and the latter's smooth, syrupy, and somewhat trap-inspired additions to the track are the kind that never stale. His synths are again hard at work here, knitting samples together at spots, and stealing the show with their jarring defiance at others. Of course, his instrumentations aren't left out to dry, either; he's them scattered about the effort, and they sound great. Really, none of this is new news to fans of the young man, but it's further conviction that he's one of the most sure things out right now.
