Lido has been dazzling us with his electronic over the years, and his dabbling in original tracks, remixes, and collaborations has always left us unable to know what to expect. (Fortunately, we've come to like almost everything he's ever put out.) As he prepares to release his long-awaited debut album, our excitement for his work is at an all-time high, and, now that he's released his third track from it today, we know that body of work is going to be great. "Dye" is what this new piece is called, and, while somewhat experimental in nature, it still retains all the appealing edge we've come to know and love Lido for. It features his voice, which we love, and an incredible amount of sonic tricks to ensure listeners are glued from beginning to end. Essentially, it proves (again) that he can do no wrong (if he can play around like this and still sound this good, what can't he do?), and, also again, we cannot wait until his debut album comes out.
