The moment we saw that Tom Misch had released a remix of Lianne La Havas' "What You Don't Do" on this particularly slow day for new music, we were instantly washed over by a refreshing wave of relief. Every Tom Misch remix carries with it the indubitable knowledge that we have a smooth, groovy new jam to enjoy, and, again here, we hear Tom layer his distinctly masterful guitar under Lianne's gripping and soulful voice. The resulting product—one which we're not surprised about at all—is a relaxing tune that's nearly impossible to dislike. We're still waiting for the release date of Tom Misch's forthcoming Beat Tape 2 project, but Lianne's own promising new work, Blood, is coming out on July 31, and you can currently pre-order it on iTunes.
