Austrian girl-boy duo Leyya impressed us a month ago with the mesmerizing "Superego" which is part of their debut album, Spanish Disco, that just dropped in Austria last month (it will be released on this side of the world soon). The album consists primarily of vocal-led electronic pieces, but the production sees itself in the spotlight, too, as each track combines unrefined sounds and instrumentations along with bass-filled synth modulations. The two brand new-cuts we're featuring here are "Hooligan" and "IDM", and both do a splendid job in exploring the two's distinguished allure alongside all the other appealing tracks that the work has to show. Overall, the album as a whole is unquestionably forward-thinking, and with the appropriate balance of experimental and structured elements, Leyya's work doesn't hold to a single genre, but a rich amalgamation of sounds that we love.
