We are now two singles deep, and it has become quite apparent that Lewis Capaldi is an artist who definitely wears his heart on his sleeve. After the beautiful ache of debut single “Bruises”, Capaldi returns to break your heart once more with his new track “Lost On You”. As with his last release, the bare approach to his composition sees a gorgeous piano arrangement as the sole companion to Capaldi’s tender vocals, which are both vulnerable and brave. The absence of expansive production leaves every slight crack and falter of his solitary voice defenseless and exposed, and this creates another raw offering from the singer-songwriter that we love.
