Musically, Hobart, Australia, is home to only one act that we know of: Kowl. Today, however, we've another act to add to the geographical list: the production duo Close Counters that's comprised of members, Finn Rees and Allan McConnell. Now, this remix of theirs is not their first piece of work, but it definitely is the best place to start if you wish to hear the kind of potential the lads have. Electing to transform LEWES' demo, Close Counters see their energetic sound encasing the deep vocals of Tim Bird (LEWES) in a constantly changing collision of spastic electronic and dynamic percussion. It's an impressive sonic coalescence, no doubt, and it'll have us giving these guys a piece of our mind going forward.
