After appearing on our radar back in August with his 20syl-produced track, "L.A.D.Y", we've yet to see any other tracks surface from Ledeunff's debut EP, My Storm. Now, after finally coming across the rest of the body of work, we're here to shed some light on what's been missed. Where "L.A.D.Y" gave us the initial promise, it's with the EP-featured tracks we haven't heard like "My Storm" and "Steam" that puts My Storm on the end of must-listen territories. On the surface, Ledeunff is an artist who makes his mark with his strong vocals that venture into soul/pop/alternative territories, but where his music really takes off his with the production behind it. Normally, you would associate the additions of guitars, drums, and bass with the genre, but what makes My Storm really stick out is the production of 20syl (C2C), who adds a chic electronic touch to the entire EP. The two working together bridges the gap between two different, but relatable, genres; and from what we've seen from the two's artistic meddling here, let's just hope there's more to follow.
