Since coming out with "The Other" seven months ago, New York singer-songwriter and pop artist Lauv has been on the radar of industry folks, bloggers, and ordinary music fans alike. He had demonstrated writing expertise, a great vocal, and a way to wrap and present the two in a passionate and appealing way. Second track "Reforget"—one we had the pleasure of premiering on this site—confirmed these traits, and now with his debut EP, Lost In The Light, out, they're going to push him into all the spaces he deserves to be. New songs "Comfortable", "Adrenaline", and "Come Back Home" all support the spectacular qualities mentioned above, and they also—amazingly—provide sparks on their own. Everything works in seamlessly on the body of work, and if you think you're going to find filler material anywhere on it, forget it. This is an exceptionally strong project from beginning to end, and it presages almost unlimited potential for Lauv from here on out.
