If you're any sort of modern pop aficionado, there's no conceivable way that you can afford to miss Laura Welsh's debut album, as it's undoubtedly one of the year's best in that regard. We've already heard a good chunk of the work in the months prior the whole piece's unraveling ("Unravel", "Ghosts", "Break The Fall", "Hardest Part", "Cold Front" are all tracks that have earlier been released [and as you can see, reviewed by us]), and now with the rest of the eleven-track body of work out for enjoyment, there's plenty more to digest and get excited about. So often, album's have their best tracks rolled out as its first singles, but from the huge-sounding brass-filled title track, to the tantalizingly tasteful "Still Life", to the rolling epic that is "God Keeps", there's more to be listened to here that just what we've already heard. When you're done running through our new highlights from it below, therefore, do yourself a very solid favor and get yourself a copy of the work on iTunes now. There is now way you're going to regret doing so.
