Laura Welsh is an artist we've covered extensively on the site, which is no surprise, as she is simply breathtaking. After seeing her make an unforgettable appearance on Gorgon City's "Here For You" and also the release of her debut Soft Control album, she briefly fell silent. Now, however, she's back and better than ever with new effort "Sex & Violence." "Sex & Violence" is a track pared-down and piano-led selection, and it's subdued verses that rely on Welsh's voice to lead the song. It has a massive chorus that soars and swells, and, while relying on less electronic production that she has in the past, "Sex & Violence" still evokes a sound and feeling that she is known for. There's no indication that the track is part of a new project of any kind, but, after hearing it, we're pretty that more work—similar-sounding or not—will be accompanying it soon.
