You may have heard of Laura Doggett through an array of impressive remixes of her tracks by artists like Jakwob, Authr and Bodhi; or perhaps you've come across her beautiful original tracks such as "Moonshine". Either way, you'll be happy to know that the UK singer continues to impress with "Old Faces", her latest track. Citing influences as Tracy Chapman and Kate Bush, the soft solo piano introduction of the piece is quickly married to Dogget's haunting vocals, harmonizing brilliantly as she talks about the "small town, small dreams" issues that burden her. Sonically, "Old Faces" may not stray far from her previous works, but it's hard to say Laura isn't picking up more steam and mainstream attention, and with the track being featured on ITV's "Broadchurch" trailer and soon to be flooding the blogosphere as her pieces normally do, that trend will on stand to continue. Stream "Old Faces" below, and head over to iTunes to own it forever.
