Although at times we get overwhelmed with all the new artists popping up, there's also a part of us that absolutely loves it. Not only does it keep us on our toes and motivated, but it also never allows us to stop loving the constant search for new music. Causing us to get a tad bit excited today is Holly Lapsley (Lapsley), the 17-year-old singer from Liverpool who builds her beautiful sounds using mainly downtempo production that centers around influences of house, garage & bass. The calm production she interacts with allows her unique timbre to shine through, giving us an overwhelming sense of warmth. Her music is much more than just a digital recording, though; each song is a piece of art evoking visualizations of something magical and unknown. Her Monday EP came out just over a month ago, but as you will see on her SoundCloud page, this is not her first batch of music. However, to start, we suggest you run through the EP below (+ the remix & loosies), and from there we guarantee you will be hooked.
