With most acts and artists emerging with just a SoundCloud page alongside them comes the no-information angle, forcing you to let your imagination run its course with the music. With Languages, a writer and producer based in Los Angeles, we have ourselves a project that feels much more than just an experiment, but rather, a talented culmination of creative ideas and excellent expressions of them. From the orchestral feel of what sounds like live strings and horns, to the sometimes-used atmospheric pads and guitars (acoustic and electric), Shiver, Languages' first work, is impressively well-manicured. In fact, with tracks like "Tumalo", "Understand", and "Grave", we've a body of work that's definitely going to catch people's attention, as his enjoyable, orchestral-filled sound is one you just don't come across every day. It seems he's enlisted a lot of help from others on various instruments, and it shows on the unbelievably whole sound he's able to set forth. For an individual that's come out of the gate relatively unexposed, we think the totality of it all is one that'll propel him toward several more endeavors ahead.
