Artists seemingly coming out of nowhere with a ton of hype usually are met with a bit of skepticism from my end and that usually results in me not really giving them a chance right away. Lana Del Rey is such the case with her recent rise to fame in a short period of time. Lana creeped into my ears without choice and now that I have been listening to her EP and watching her videos, I gotta say she is something else. Besides being strikingly beautiful, her style and overall appearance has a vintage feel that definitely stands out. Her stunning voice creates imagery and can put you into a completely different zone. Her strongest 2 songs "Video Games" and "Born To Die" are both examples of her ability to leave you stuck in her eyes that seem to hold no emotion. Check out her video for 'Born To Die' below.
