It’s been three weeks since the release of “Nights”, and though you could say we’ve yet to have grow weary of the piece, the collaboration of La+ch and Dustbuster (sideways members) has given us further material to freely dive into today with "High-Life". The Toronto-based act is certainly on a tear recently, gradually progressing their house-chauffeured sound and thoroughly utilizing mesmerizing vocal to aid in an electro-pop flavor that fails to tire our ears. Portraying a certain buoyant character from the very onset, the sideways crew members inject an incredible, groove-filled undertone, and along with La+ch’s songwriting skills and vocal delivery, the piece unfolds in a flawless manner. Every breakdown is a gesture-prompting one, and with the production-end spewing out well-timed echoes and laser-like synths, the result is one you can’t just can’t seem to get enough of. The teaming up of La+ch and Dustbuster is hopefully here to stay, and with an EP around the corner (it's supposed to come out in early November), there isn’t the slightest doubt the two have a bright future in store.
