Over a year ago, La Mar hit the ground running with their spectacular debut single, "Anchor", but we haven't actually received a follow-up track from the Sydney-based duo since then, although they were featured on Mazde's original piece, "Shifted Thoughts". Today, however, they've spontaneously returned with "Trick Of The Light", a phenomenal new single that proves La Mar hasn't abandoned their craft, but, on the contrary, have been very hard at work. The slow-moving, alluring effort is a prime example of the supreme talent of both vocalist Dylan Wright, and producer Andrew Grant. Every aspect of the unique offering is perfected down to a tee, and that very fact answers our question about why La Mar has been absent from the music scene for so long. This time, though, you don't have to worry about them completely disappearing again, because they have a new EP up their sleeve, and it's set to be released later this year. For now, though, just make sure that you listen to their new single which is being released through Stoney Roads Records.
