L Y L Δ is a singer-songwriter from the UK that we came across through a repost on SC, and we're sure glad we did, because she's the real deal. The particularly attractive "Locked Away" effort of hers, shared today by Trapdoor Records, abducted our intrigue upon first listen, and we knew right away that further exploration of the artist's sound was required in order to truly appreciate what we had stumbled serendipitously upon. "Locked Away" introduced us to the beautiful tone in L Y L Δ's possession, and additional tracks "Things You Do" and "Milkshake" unveiled a more moody approach taken by the vocalist, which we absolutely love. It appears that L Y L Δ has an ear for great production to go along with her obvious singing talents, and the combination has enabled her to compile an impressive list of tracks waiting to be enjoyed.
