L W K Y's "Higher" appeared on our pages a few short days ago, and we took favor to it for more than a few reasons. It was uncharacteriscally crispy, extraordinarily involved, and still smart enough to break at all the right spots (so as to not fatigue us with the overwhelming amount of energy it exuded). We loved the track lots, so when we came across Tydes' remix of it last night, we knew we were in for another awesome listen. It's interesting, though perhaps unsurprising, to note the relatively tamed take of Tydes' on the track; the pacing employed on the interpretation is quite conservative compared to the original, which isn't bad, but refreshing. We're able to better absorb the vibes that L W K Y earlier installed, while also appreciating what effectively minimal enhancements Tydes himself inserted into the track.
