With all the consistency of an unwanted newsletter and voice mail reminder, L W K Y has been pumping out quality tunes, and though the time between each has been spaced out a bit to ensure an authentic sound, it never really seems like it's been a long time since we've heard the latest creation from the Melbourne production group. "Higher" is the latest instrumental offering of theirs, a rising electronic anthem that ebbs in intensity throughout, but always keeps your attention. The track is fit especially for a club, where the ultra-low bass and swirling synths will have bodies to channel the expressed energy through, but it doubles as a great listen for those who are simply fans of the genre and what electricity it has to offer.
