Kye Kye resides within Washington at the moment, but what the group brings with them is the lauded beauty of their home country of Estonia, because when you're a rocks-throw away from Scandinavia, you're going to channel everything from that region in regards to creating beautiful pop music. Estonia is not renowned for harboring international pop stars at the moment, but what it should be known for (at least for now in music) is bringing the world the majestic sounds of Kye Kye. Fantasize is the group's second album, so as far as comparing this effort to their previously released debut that dropped in 2011, we can't offer much. What we can do, however, is make it known to you how impressive Fantasize is through our words and highlighted tracks. What's immediately apparent with Kye Kye is how absolutely breathtaking their music is. When you're listening to their sound, it makes you feel like you're flying through snow-capped mountains on a helicopter. Built upon a foundation of swelling and emotionally charged instrumentation, the invigorating atmosphere that's created by their arrangements leaves a wide open space for lead vocalist Olga to give their songs these elevated heights, and as you wade enjyably through this album, there will be no reason to skip along; each song is worth its own exploration.
