We've emphasized Kwabs’ nonpareil vocal abilities countless times, but what particularly startles us about the solitary act is the amount of heart and sweat he puts into every single piece of work. Coming off his blossoming Pray For Love EP, the UK artist has no intentions on taking a breather, as his fleecy, soul-chauffeured voice takes him to further heights on his latest piece, “Saved”, which is part of his new four-track EP entitled Walk that's being released today. The gelatinous vocals of Kwabs on “Saved” enter instantly, and with a deserted backdrop, his self-reflective lyricism rides the essence of the piece for a short while. Upbeat elements find their way in at appropriate times, and they hoist the soaring, triumphant vocals in ideal fashion. Other background voices and jubilant drums enter as the the piece evolves, and you can sense the fervency increasing through Kwabs’ voice—provoking an atmosphere we’re very much in love with.
