Kuma is a name that we’ve seen floating around, and we can easily tell that he’s got some serious talent. The young producer was unsigned the last time we checked his status, but it looks like he was just recently picked up by independent label, Flow-Fi, which seems to be a smart move on their behalf. Judging by Kuma's latest release, “If Only You”, the collective definitely made a good call. The first release from the artist on the label clearly proves one fact, and that's that he's the real deal. Every aspect of his debut is on point; hypnotic synths draw the listener in, while ethereal percussion holds the piece together. If you have an ear for complexity, you're in luck, too, because Kuma drops enough layers to quench anyone’s thirst for the kind of harmony he employs. We'll be keeping our eyes and ears on the producer as a result of this masterful effort, and recommend that you do the same.
