Chillwave differs from some other genres in that there is a particular way you know you're listening to a wonderful offering within it, and that's through acquisition of the sense that you could listen to the song for a long period of time. Polish producer JacM transfers this realization through his tranquil remix of Koda's already mellow "Staying", an ideal song for a serene winter night. JacM allows Koda's gentle vocals to guide you through a peaceful dream of a song, in which there is never too much going on, nor is there ever too little. The stripped-down melody accompanies imagery of sitting inside by a fire, looking out the window at the soft snow, glistening slightly from the light of a full moon. When the song ends, you'll undoubtedly be wishing that it had lasted another five hours (rather than a mere five minutes that a replay would afford), so don't be afraid to put this on again and again while drifting away earnestly to it.
