You know your country is killing the music game when it's becomes cliche for music writers to reference how much great music is coming out of your country (Australia), and we're almost being cliche for even leading off our words like this here, what's not cliche is how good the debut single, "Make Me Wonder", is from the Melbourne-based cousin duo that is Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul. Leading the way for our affection to gravitate immediately towards this effort is obviously the buttery vocals of Chloe, but what takes this track to the next level is the production here, with those magnetizing and downright seductive chords that leaves us completely smitten. This is only the debut effort from the duo, which is pretty amazing when you consider the quality this track sits on, and, needless to say, we're looking forward to whatever this duo happens to release from here on out.
