A refreshing experience is always had when one comes across an act like Klangstof. Upon the initial taste of the act's sound, it's difficult to put a finger on what exactly is being headed toward, so you're forced to let the music take you wherever it goes. With "Hostage" and "Love Or Sedate Me", the act's two first tracks, we see this being the case. "Hostage" could be considered the more tamer of the two tracks, but only for parts, because, toward its end, it whips into an orchestral frenzy that's quite intense. "Love Or Sedate Me", meanwhile, could definitely be considered the weirder of the two with its crackling percussion and discordant arrangements. The elements are set against melancholic vocals as well, making the track all the more oddly engaging. From what we can gather, both of these tracks will be featured on Klangstof's debut album coming out sometime this year, so, if you like what you hear, make sure you give a follow on all social media accounts.
