Klangstof has been plugging away this past year with great intent, giving fans serene works like "Amansworld" and "Island". Today, much-anticipated eleven-track body of work Close Eyes To Exit is out, and it caps off well the sonic journey had so far. Koen van der Wardt (Klangstof) casts a dimly lit mood on many of the works here, but it's one that's immersive as well, with percussive-led cadences and hazy vocals blending for sunless vibes put forth. Tracks that are particularly standing out to us include the already-featured "We Are Your Receiver" and a new one titled "Seasons", but we'd also advise you to take your time with the album, as each piece provides a perfect transition unto the next.
