We were first introduced to Klangstof last year with the independent release of his first singles, “Hostage” and “Love or Sedate Me”, and, earlier this year, we saw him release again the former track under the roof of burgeoning label Mind of a Genius Records, with whom he's since signed. Today, the act's gifted us with two more insights into his new recordings with tracks “A Man’s World” and “Island”. The pair of tracks here is a generous offering, for sure, and, after digesting the new material, it's easy to see why Klangstof felt compelled to get it out as quickly as he could. One of the most impressive aspects of this work is the musicianship which is especially present on the new tracks, and, whether with playful, off-kilter refrains on “Amansworld”, or the “Hostage”-esque beats of “Island”, a truly arresting display of talent is here on display. We've come to expect it now from the act, though, and we don't think we'll tire of it anytime soon.
