Choosing the right vocal sample to accompany a production piece is one task that we would assume to be one of the most important factors when concocting a musical effort. Whether that said production piece was built off the vocal sample, or added in later, a vocal sample really can add a significant amount of character to beats, no doubt about it. On Kixnare's 2013-released, "Gucci Dough", we find him sampling Next's "Beauty Queen", which works absolutely perfectly with his additional enhancements. The way he brings in the sample at the beginning of the track pretty much sets the stage for this to be a winner, and though Kixnare handles his sound well througout, he really had us at that vocal sample, at the end of the day.
