Kita Alexander wowed the majority of the music blogosphere when she released her debut tune, "My Own Way", five months ago. It was a lower-key pop track with some glitchy elements and a semi-confident voice expressed on it, and it fell into the favor of most because it didn't really give any reason not to. With her new, second-ever track, "Like You Want To", now out, however, we hear her at her best yet. "Like You Want To" is a much fuller, very, very attractive pop piece that retains her cool beach and surfer-sounding aesthetic without being too conspicuously kept by it. It features a fresher-sounding voice from the singer than we had earlier heard, and the groove of the track is pure as well. It's a great one for sunny days and radiant states of mind, but it'll do as just a superb track as well. Kita's become pretty good at making those, and we already can't wait for more. [via Noisey]
