The humbled demeanor is definitely something to admire, especially in comparison to those of most artists and producers these days, but it doesn't do his latest remix any sort of justice, at least in terms of recognizability. KiRRiN iSLAND's "hopp, hopp hopp" is the material manifested here in a spectacular new light, and the aforementioned German producer energizes the original with exotic samples and intimately involved percussion. The resulting vibes are extraordinarily organic, conjuring lush imagery to go along with the equally natural sound.
