Say Something

Auckland-based Kingston has found themselves together in a band once again after several years of playing music together as kids. We got to hear the newly formed trio's refined indie-pop sound only a week ago in debut single "Trying", and, today, they are back with a whole EP for us to digest. The infectious, euphoric sound they hold true to was one that really struck a chord with us, and the body of work we're introduced to today possess a similar sun-tinged vibe. Other than the previously released cut, the rest of the tracks included on the EP radiate and trigger happiness; from their airy beats, to their distorted synths, the production balances out the soothing, almost melancholic vocals presented within. The tunes listened below are what we decided to be standout efforts from the body of work, but we definitely encourage you to check out the whole endeavor if you like the cheery, easygoing indie-rock sound they've shown.
