Part of an album featuring big-time artists like Pusha T and Raz Simone, Seattle-based artist King Leez releases a killer track, "In My Mode". With mesmerizing vocal samples and effortless, funky verses, the track rolls with a very traditional hip-hop sound, and it's one we love enough to share with you here. We often see production taking over and drowning out hip-hop tracks, but that's not the case with this one here. The musical space on it has been used very effectively (bluesy bass licks, powerful mid-tempo drums, and the reggae vocals were arranged perfectly to highlight his verses), and he does not disappoint with the production behind the track, either. With its fluid, poetic verses coupled with that aforementioned sound, the track is sure to get your head nodding in no time at all.
