Depending on your tastes and sensibilities, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is either the best band name of all time or a frontrunner for the worst. Whichever way you lean, however, you can't deny these Aussies can craft some seriously good psychedelic rock. "30 Past 7" is the first single from their upcoming album Float Along - Fill Your Lungs, and is the audible equivalent of an acid trip - mellow while being harsh, trippy while coasting along from end to end on a solid wave, and even though at times it feels like it should be over by now, you really don't want it to be. Take a listen below, with or without the hallucinogens - we're not here to judge.
