It didn't take long for the UK artist, Oceaán, to gain huge respect from the Hillydilly team. He first popped up almost a year ago, but it was with the recent release of his debut EP that confirmed his excellence. Just two weeks ago, Kill J released a remix of Oceaán's "To Lose" that simply defied all musical boundaries, and now, Oceaán has come back to the songstress with a remix of her pop anthem, "Bullet". Kill J set the bar high by absolutely tearing apart and fully reinventing Oceaán's track, so Oceaán has essentially done the same to her work. Heavy bass, fresh percussion, and waving synths are his weapons of choice here, occasionally throwing in an echoed whip as well. He also decides to take on the vocals of the piece (a hefty task), but he pulls it off without any real trouble. The real victor of this remix battle of sorts is the listener, though, because we now have two more phenomenal works from each artist to enjoy.
