Milwaukee electronic duo Kiings isn't unfamiliar to Hillydilly, but it sure has been a while since their brilliant production has graced our pages. Today, however, we've the honor of premiering a brand-new song of theirs, along with introducing a new female vocalist to our pages: Piper Davis. In their new single, "The West", the two acts generate a highly unique, brilliantly crafted work of genre-bending electronic, and believe us when we say it's worthy of your ears. Kiings pieces together a delightfully eerie sonic array here, and it's particularly heavy in its percussion and deep synths. There are enough electronic nuances to keep you occupied throughout the track, and many of them are distortions of Piper's haunting vocals. Piper does a fantastic job hitting a totally distinct, somewhat chilling sound with her vocals, and it complements the instrumental excellently. We're excited to see Kiings put themselves back on our radar with their new single here, and Piper Davis has certainly made a great first impression with the effort, too. Hopefully we'll see more work of theirs surface in the future, but until that happens, we'll be reveling excitedly in the new track.
