Back in January, the London-based singer-songwriter KHUSHI emerged onto our radar with his lovely debut single, "Phantoms". Unfortunately, besides covering the following remix from Peter Lyons, we completely forgot about the release. But now, thanks to the emergence of EP-featured "In The Sun" today, as well as our liberation of "One For Me", we're reminded what a stellar body of work the debut really was. Like the serenity of a still lake on a calm, sunny day, the vocals of KHUSMI simmers atop the majestic production that's featured throughout. Whether it's his vocals leading the way, or the contemporary and blissful instrumentation, the Phantoms EP shows no signs of weakness whatsoever; rather, it's a seamless journey through soundscapes you'll never want to leave. And because this is just the debut EP, you can no doubt expect KHUSHI to be releasing a full-length soon.
