For most new acts, a debut album is an endeavor that takes a few years to happen. For Khalid, however, it's been a very quick process, as, toward the tail end of 2016, he saw his music exploding. Now, in 2017, he's already readying his debut via RCA Records, and there's no reason to expect it not to be one of the year's best. Today, Khalid's released the latest track from the aforementioned body of work (it's called "Shot Down"), and it's another achingly good one that's proving he's here to stay. Khalid has been on a tear recently releasing album pieces and featuring on a certain big-name artist's new track as well, but it seems now he's locked and loaded with his own project on the way.
